In 2018 Airbnb launched a new sub-brand that maintained the visual language of the core Airbnb brand while dialing up design and hospitality. I led a team of designers, illustrators, photo editors, video editors, and writers to create a brand look and feel as well as a set of identity system guidelines for the Airbnb Plus brand in and out of the product.

Solving business problems with design
The Airbnb Plus launch was an overwhelming success. Guests wanted verified homes. The problem was Airbnb didn't have enough Plus homes to fill the ever-growing demand. Since we had to verify every home for design, we spent a lot of time going back and forth with hosts on design fixes.
To help our hosts get verified, We created a series of gifs, videos and Pinterest pins for education on how our best Plus hosts use design and hospitality in their homes.
